The Wedding Aisle

Lisa Altmiller

I became an officiant after dear friends of mine told me that they were having trouble finding an officiant to marry them due to their lack of religious beliefs or affiliations.

Another friend of mine shared a similar story, telling me because they identified as LGBTQ+, their choices of officiants were limited.  I decided to become ordained and have been performing marriages ever since.

I believe that ALL people, REGARDLESS of race, gender or sexual orientation, have the RIGHT to marry.  I also believe that ALL people have the right to solemnize marriage.
